The answer is -10

Explanation

As the given equation is

[tex]kx - 4y - k = 0[/tex]

Putting the value of x as -1 and y as 5

[tex]k (-1) - 4 (5) - k = 0[/tex]

[tex]-k -20 - k = 0[/tex]

[tex]-2k -20 = 0[/tex]

[tex]K = -10[/tex]

So the value of k is 10
