what is the value of x in y= -6x+18 and y =3/2x-7

1) y= -6x + 18
y - 18 = -6x
y - 18 ÷ -6 = x
y + 3 = x

2) y = 3/2x - 7
y + 7 = 3/2x
y + 7 × 2/3 = x
y + 14/3 = x
